When is the last day I can book a trip?

You can book your tour up to 14 days prior to the departure date.  Note: The tour may be sold out earlier than 14 days due to limited accommodation or other availability.

I plan to join the tour on my own, what would be my cost?

Please see the price for single occupancy room for each tour package. .

How many students are there on each tour?

Our maximum is 16.  Depending on the yoga tour, the number of students can vary.

Does the tour have minimum size?

We recommend you purchase your air tickets once the tour has at least 6 student confirmations or a confirmed departure.

How many yoga sessions are there during the tour?

Most tours offer 4 – 6 yoga sessions. A yoga session is scheduled on days where the group is not traveling to a different city. Please see your tour itinerary for details.

If you do not pay in full by the due date, your reservation will be cancelled and your tour deposit will be forfeited.  Please contact us if you have any issue with your payment.

Can you help me book my flights?

Certainly! Let us know the major airports near you and we will assist you with your air tickets.

How do I know which airport to fly into? What’s the earliest date I can fly in?

The Tour web page provides information regarding recommended arrival time into the airport and departure time from the airport for your flight home, along with useful airport information.

Our friendly agents can assist you with flight reservations or provide the tour details to allow you to make your own flight arrangements.  Our agents can also assist you with pre-tour and post-tour hotel accommodations and any additional requirements or add-ons.

After booking your own flight reservations, let us know your flight information so we can reserve your arrival and departure airport transfer at the tour city airport.

Why do I need to submit my flight details?

Our tour includes an arrival and departure airport transfer for you.  To ensure that you are met upon arrival, our greeter needs the information to monitor your flight status.

You don’t need any airport transfer? Not a problem, just let us know.

What should I pack on my yoga tour?

Don’t worry, we will email a suggested packing list.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, it is required that all yoga teachers and tour guests purchase travel insurance.  Travel insurance is an important way to protect your investment in a Yoga Tour.  Depending upon the plan you purchase, the travel insurance can cover trip cancellation, travel and medical emergencies, and the loss or theft of your personal gear.

Passports & Visas: Is a visa required? How much can I expect to pay for a visa?

Many countries require travelers to have at least 6 months of validity remaining on their passports at time of entry. If your passport is expiring soon, please make sure to renew your passport before booking your tour.

The following countries do not require a tourist visa for USA/Canadian passport holders: Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand.

A visa is required for all USA Passport Holders visiting India. An Electronic Visa is available via the Indian Embassy / Consulate in the USA. For more details, please refer to the Visas section of our travel information center here.

In addition, please remember to check visa requirements if you are transiting or stopping over in other countries on your trip.

For non-USA passports, please check with your local consulate or embassy for precise details on visa requirements for each country visited or transited.

What happens if I’m delayed or miss my flight?

If you are delayed or miss your flight, your first step is to contact your airline or the travel agent you originally booked with as they can best help you reschedule your flight.

Finally, before each tour, we email our guests detailed information including important contact information. If your travel plans are altered on the day of travel, we highly recommend that you inform the important contacts about your changed travel plans.

What happens if I have an emergency while I’m abroad?

For non-emergency issues, please contact your yoga teacher (who is also your tour leader).  Otherwise use the contact information provided by us.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening situation, please contact the local emergency services immediately.  It’s a good idea to program the local emergency number into your cell phone (does your cell phone operate in that country?) for the country you’ll be visiting.  If you’ve purchased travel insurance, please contact your insurance company.

In case of a travel emergency (missed flight, cancelled flight, etc.), please work directly with your airline to fix your travel issue and contact the hotel you’ll be staying at immediately, to inform them of any change in your travel plans.

Also, please keep us informed about your situation and let us know how we can help.
